growing weeds....on purpose.

Sam has finished designing and building our planter box for our balcony. After going to Home Depot today to by a weed (aka horse tail- a type of bamboo) here's what we've got so far (It's supposed to spread out to fill the entire box with a little time since it is a rhizome).:
