babysitting

We babysat our niece yesterday as Sam's sister and brother in law celebrated their wedding anniversary. This was a test to see if we could handle the whole baby thing. It was pretty fun and not as crazy as I had feared. There was some crying involved (she was supposed to "love bath time" however we found the opposite to be true!) I did realize that the whole messiness that comes with letting your child eat for themselves would be something that I would have to adjust to.
